Michael Jones joined Banner Bank as President and CEO in February of 2002. Michael Jones has had an impressive career in banking, finance and accounting. He is the former President of West One Bancorp, Boise, Idaho, which, at the time of its acquisition by U.S. Bank, had $8.5 billion in assets and 223 branch offices. Prior to joining West One, he was the President of Old National Bancorporation in Spokane, a $2 billion institution with 65 branch offices throughout Washington at the time of its acquisition in 1987. Prior to joining Banner, Mr. Jones was President and CEO of Source Capital Corporation, a specialty lending company doing business in eleven western states. He is a Certified Public Accountant-Inactive and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Washington State University.
