Our Fall Food Drive supported families in every state we serve with donations to community organizations. The September effort brought in 22,625 packaged food items and $25,812 in cash across our service area, thanks to clients, employees and friends.

Though the drive happens in fall, our generosity—like the need—is year-round. In May, the Bank sponsored the Crush Hunger Food Truck Event fundraiser for Northwest Harvest in Spokane, Wash. Banner also funded five garden carts and 24 fruit saplings for the Josephine County (Oregon) Food Bank. Volunteers use the carts to harvest produce. The trees, once mature, will provide fresh nutrition for people who depend on the food bank, which works with 23 agencies to help feed 11,000 individuals a month.

These activities are among many Banner undertakes year round to help ensure our neighbors don’t go hungry.
