Introducing the Banner Virtual Assistant. Ask us about your account balances and recent transactions, or find locations, branch services and more using your Alexa assistant, Google Home device or SMS text message on your mobile device.

It's simple to get started. Follow the steps below to enable the Banner Bank skill and link your accounts on your preferred device. Once set up, you can activate the Banner Virtual Assistant just by saying "Alexa, open Banner Bank" or "Hey Google, talk to Banner Bank" or by typing your question to 51980.

Amazon Alexa

  1. Select Banner Bank from your Alexa app on your mobile device
  2. Enable to use and save permissions
  3. Select “Link Accounts” in your settings
  4. Submit your Banner Bank Online Banking username and password
  5. Tap “Allow It!”
  6. Enter a new four-digit number to be your "voice passcode" and tap “Set Passcode and Continue”
  7. Agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
  8. Say "Alexa, open Banner Bank” to engage the Virtual Assistant
     

Google Home

  1. Select Banner Bank from your Google Home App
  2. Enable to use and save permissions
  3. Select Link It
  4. Submit your Banner Bank Online Banking username and password
  5. Tap "Allow It!"
  6. Enter a new four-digit number to be your "voice passcode" tap “Set Passcode and Continue”
  7. Say "Hey Google, Talk to Banner Bank" to engage the Virtual Assistant
     

SMS Text

  1. Text “Link Accounts” to 51980
  2. Tap the URL in the response to procced to the login screen
  3. Enter your Banner Bank Online Banking username and password
  4. Tap “Allow It!”
  5. Select a delivery method for your Secure Access Code and tap Continue
  6. Enter the Secure Access Code, check “Register Device!” and tap “Validate” 
  7. Select the check box next to “I authorize Banner to send text messages to …” and tap “Verify”
  8. You will get a “Success!” message and receive a text
  9. Text your question to 51980 using natural language
