Virtual Security Token Download and Installation Instructions

To ensure the safety of your ACH and wire transactions, security tokens are required to authorize these transactions when using Banner Bank’s Business Online Banking. Banner Bank employees will never ask you for your credential ID or security code.

Virtual security tokens are easy to use and compatible with most smart phones or mobile devices. We require the Verisign Symantec.VIP  virtual security token application to be used with Business Online Banking.

FIRST: Download the Verisign Virtual Security Token App

  • From your preferred App Store search for ‘VIP ACCESS’ OR enter m.vip.symantec.com in your mobile device browser.
  • Complete the download to your mobile device.

ABOUT THE APP:

  • The app displays a unique CREDENTIAL ID at the top of your screen and a six digit SECURITY CODE below that refreshes every 30 seconds.
  • When approving ACH and wire transactions in Business Online Banking, you will be prompted to enter this security code to complete each transaction.
  • The first time approving a transaction you will be prompted to input a second six digit code.
  • Multiple transactions can be approved using a single Security Code.

NEXT: Activate Your Virtual Security Token App

  • After downloading the app, contact our Banner Bank Treasury Management Support.
  • The first time, you will be prompted to provide the Credential ID from the app. This will link your app with your Business Online Banking Login ID.
  • You are ready to authorize ACH or wire transactions using the token application.

Important note: if you are unable to use a smart phone or mobile device to download the virtual security token app, please contact Treasury Management Support for assistance.
