  3. Maintain the balance requirements for 90 days.

To qualify for the savings offer, you must not already have a savings or money market account with Banner Bank. Q: If I already have a Banner Bank account, can I qualify for this promotional offer by opening a new account?
A: A new account won’t qualify if it’s of the same type you already have with us. For example, if you have a personal checking account with us, a new personal checking account will not qualify. However, if you open a different account type than what you already own (for example, a new business checking account when you have an existing personal checking account or a new personal savings account when your account with us is a personal checking account) you may qualify if you meet the other offer requirements.

Q: Can I close my existing account and open a new account of the same type to qualify for this promotional offer?
A: No. If an account of one type (checking or savings) has been closed with us within the past two years, a new account of that type will not qualify.

Q: How much can I earn with this promotional offer?
A: Meet the offer requirements and earn $250 or $500 for opening a new checking account and $250 or $500 for opening a new savings account. The amount earned varies depending on they type of account opened and how much is deposited in the account within the first 60 days of opening it and then maintained as a minimum account balance for 90 days.

Q: Can I earn a checking and a savings account bonus?

A: Yes. As long as you meet the requirements for both, you can earn a checking bonus and savings bonus, for a maximum combined bonus of $1,000.

Q: How do I open an account online and why is a separate login required?
A: Review the accounts available and details for each at https://www.bannerbank.com/apply-now. Then select the account you want to apply for. A separate login for our application portal is required  to finish an application, see its status and find a list of tasks to complete, documents to upload and any account disclosures available to download.

Q: How do I open a savings account if I already have a checking account?
A: Go to https://www.bannerbank.com/apply-now. Then select the type of savings account you would like to open and click on the “Apply” button next to the account you have selected.

Q: What is the interest rate or APY for my new account?

Receiving Your Bonus

Q: When will I receive my bonus deposit?
A: We will deposit your bonus into your new account within 30 days following your account meeting the 90-day minimum balance requirement.
