Debit Card Security

Starting April 16, 2024 , some online and card-not-present debit card transactions may require a one-time passcode (OTP). This procedure is designed to reduce fraud and protect your account.

One-time Passcode Procedures
If an OTP is needed to complete your purchase, you will see a prompt requesting the code, which will be sent to you via text message or your email, depending on the communications preferences you have established with us. Simply enter the number sent to you and complete your purchase. 

Do not ever share a one-time passcode with anyone. We will never ask you to share an OTP with us other than to enter it into the appropriate field while making an online purchase.

Keep Your Contact Information Up-to-Date
Please ensure your contact info is up-to-date for passcode delivery. You can update your contact information for passcode delivery within Banner Online and Mobile Banking:

  1. Log into Banner Online or Mobile Banking
  2. Click on the Menu and then on “Services”
  3. Select “Change of Address”
  4. Update the “Home Cell Phone” and “Email Address” fields with your most current contact information
  5. Click “Submit”
