Solicitations to Clients with Loans Secured by Real Estate

Clients with Banner Bank mortgages or home equity loans and lines of credit should beware of official-looking solicitations from companies purporting to be Banner Bank. These solicitations often include designs or language that make it appear as though they’re Banner Bank-created communications when they are not. They often contain language such as, “we have been trying to reach you regarding a matter of importance related to your mortgage.” In most cases, very small disclaimer language is also included that indicates the sender is not affiliated with Banner Bank. These mailings are not from Banner Bank.

Loans secured by real estate, like a mortgage or home equity line of credit, are recorded in public records with your county. Information may include a consumer’s address or other publicly available information, such as the name of your lender. Businesses (and scammers) may access this information and use it to solicit business, and may try to appear as though their outreach is for official Banner Bank purposes. If in doubt about a solicitation you receive, call us at 800-272-9933. Our team is always ready to help you understand whether you’ve received an official Banner Bank communication.

Mortgage Loan Details

Each month we will mail you a statement that shows general loan information and recent activity. If you prefer, you can view your mortgage information at any time by signing up for Banner Online Banking. Simply click the “Enroll in Online Banking” link and follow the prompts to get started. Once enrolled in Online Banking you can also sign up for electronic statements by expanding the “Transactions” menu, clicking “Statements” and following the prompts. 

 

Pay your mortgage the way you choose.

Automatic Payments: Simply download, complete and return the Auto Pay form to us (link below) to have your payment automatically deducted from your checking or savings account each month.

Online: Sign up for Banner Online Banking to see information on your mortgage, pay your bill manually each month or set up recurring payments from an account at another financial institution.

In Person: Find a Banner Bank branch near you.

By Mail: Include your loan number on your check and mail your payment to: Banner Bank, PO Box 1117 Walla Walla, WA 99362.

Relax knowing your payments have been made. Fill out and submit the form below to have your payment automatically deducted from your checking or savings account each month.

Escrow Account
Your escrow account is a fee-free and convenient way to pay your regular property taxes and homeowners insurance (plus flood insurance if applicable) with your monthly mortgage payment. Here's a reminder about how Banner Bank manages this account for you.
